Key Features
1、Slow and Steady Cooking
The Kamado's ability to maintain a low, consistent temperature makes it ideal for stewing. You can leave your stew to simmer for hours, allowing the flavors to meld together and the meat to become incredibly tender.
2、Insulated Cooking Chamber
The thick ceramic walls of the Kamado act as excellent insulation, reducing heat loss. This means that once the desired stewing temperature is reached, it can be maintained with minimal fuel consumption.
3、Aromatic Stews
The enclosed environment of the Kamado grill traps the aromas of the stewing ingredients. As the stew cooks, the rich, savory scents are concentrated, resulting in a more fragrant and flavorful dish.
Important Precautions
1. Safety First: Fire & Heat Hazards
Never use the grill indoors, in enclosed spaces (e.g., garages, tents) or near flammable materials (wood, fabrics, gasoline). Maintain a minimum 3-foot clearance from combustibles and 10 feet from buildings.
Do not touch the ceramic body, cooking grates, or lid during use—they reach extremely high temperatures (up to 750°F). Use heat-resistant gloves and tools at all times.
Keep children and pets at least 3 feet away from the grill when in use or cooling down.
Use only natural lump charcoal or high-quality charcoal briquettes. Never use gasoline, kerosene, or other flammable liquids to ignite charcoal—use a charcoal chimney starter or electric igniter instead.
Do not overfill the charcoal chamber (max 2/3 capacity) to avoid excessive heat or fire risks.
Never add charcoal to a hot grill while the lid is closed—open the lid first and allow proper ventilation to prevent flare-ups.
Familiarize with damper controls: Open bottom and top dampers fully during ignition; adjust gradually to regulate temperature. Never fully close both dampers while charcoal is burning—risk of carbon monoxide buildup.
Always open the lid slowly when checking food—hot smoke and steam can cause burns.
Do not move the grill while in use or while charcoal is still hot. Wait until it cools completely (at least 4 hours) before moving.
